Spring is Sprung

Honeys, this year has already been off to a magical start, and we are just getting started! So far, I’ve read some beautiful books, danced in the kitchen, planted a little herb garden, written a ton, read some poems & talk to writer friends in Seattle during AWP, laughed with loved ones, sweated in the living room, and led a few virtual workshops.

I shared a few poems at Jazzetry with Von Disco at Trident Bookstore in Boulder to kick off National Poetry Month, shared a keynote for the Bold Women Summit at History Colorado, and even got to share a poem at the Cities Summit of the Americas

It’s been lovely, and we are just getting started!

I am also SO EXCITED to share with you that I will be attending my very first writing residency this year in FRANCE. Oh, snap! I think I’m about eight years old in the photo above, and I think it encapsulates my joy.

This will be my first time going to Europe, and I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to sit by a quiet fireplace and try to finish the manuscripts I’m working on. This is an exciting opportunity and a huge undertaking; I will be working to raise the money to cover my expenses for the month that I’m away.

If you feel called to support any of the efforts below, or join my Patreon (which comes with some cool benefits), or if you have some other avenues of support you’d like to connect me with, I will truly be grateful for any and all help you can offer!

If you’d like to learn more about / read previews my works in progress, there are some TOP-SECRET unpublished excerpts on my Patreon page (which I will keep adding to):
